John M. Windelberg is a Graduate Gemologist of the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), a member of the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers (N.A.J.A.) and a member of the American Society of Jewelry Historians. He is a graduate of Wake Forest University and a candidate member of J-BAR, Jewelry Appraisal and Review of the Jewelers Vigilance Committee. Mr. Windelberg has advanced gemological training from the Gemological Institute of America in the area of Ruby, Sapphires, and Emeralds as well as in Pearl Grading. As an independent appraiser his clients include American Gem Society (AGS) stores as well as several of the top twenty jewelry chain stores in the United States. With twenty-six years of appraisal experience in the retail jewelry industry, as well as estate valuations done for banks and attorneys, he brings a broad basis to evaluating the authenticity, quality, design and value of an item of jewelry.
